  • Journal Editor Professor Ron Martin has received two awards, one of which was jointly awarded to, another CJRES Editor, Professor Peter Tyler, from Research.com, a leading academic platform for researchers.  Professor Martin is in its 2023 List of the World’s Top 2000 Best Scientists in Economics and Finance, based on academic papers and citations. Only 5 UK geographers are in that list. The platform also gave him the 2023 Economics and Finance Research Leader Award.
  • November 2021 – Journal Editor Professor Ron Martin has been named as a Highly Cited Researcher by @clarivate (the Web of Science). He has more than 44,000 Google Scholar citations of his work. He is the only social scientist across the University of Cambridge to be named as a Highly Cited Researcher.
  • Journal Editors Dr Mia Gray and Professor Betsy Donald are awarded the Regional Studies Association’s Prize for the Best Paper 2020 
  • Journal Editor Professor Ron Martin has been Honored by the Royal Geographical Society – August 2019
