The eighth conference hosted by the Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society will take place on 9-10 July 2020, at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. The conference theme is ‘Spatial Policy for the Post-Crisis Era’ and the related Call for Papers will be announced shortly.

This conference has two interrelated aims:
• Bridging the rift between theory and policy: a call for putting public policy at the heart of the urban and regional studies agenda
• Rethinking the scope, nature and aims of spatial policies for a post-crisis era of social, economic, political and environmental uncertainty and challenges.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Call for Papers is open. Those interested in presenting a paper at the conference should submit an Abstract of about 400 words to Francis Knights fk240@cam.ac.uk no later than 1 March 2020.  Details for the Call for Papers can be downloaded HERE.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION, COST AND BOOKING
All attendees to the conference must register beforehand. Please book a delegate ticket using the Booking section below. Please note the delegate ticket does not include accommodation, that needs to be booked separately, see the Accommodation section below.

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

CONFERENCE VENUE
The conference will take place in the McGrath Conference Centre, at St Catharine’s College, Trumpington Street, Cambridge CB2 1RL. There is no parking onsite see the Parking in Cambridge webpage and the Finding the College webpage for further directions to the College.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for the conference can be booked directly, with St Catharine’s College. Please note due to refurbishment work there is limited accommodation available at St Catharine’s College and this will be allocated on a first come basis.
